Overview

Our precision chrome-plated steel tubes are engineered specifically for forklift steering axle applications. Combining high-strength alloy steel cores with advanced hard chrome plating, these tubes deliver exceptional wear resistance, corrosion protection, and long service life under continuous heavy-load operation. Each tube undergoes multi-stage grinding, polishing, and precision machining to ensure accurate fitment and smooth steering performance.

Materials

We select materials based on specific application and performance requirements:

• AISI 1045 / 45# Steel — Medium carbon steel offering a good balance of strength, toughness, and machinability.

• AISI 1020 — Low carbon steel with excellent machinability and weldability, suitable for case-hardening applications.

• AISI4140 (42CrMo Equivalent) — Chromium-molybdenum alloy steel with superior strength, toughness, and wear resistance. Ideal for heavy-load components.

• AISI413 (30CrMo Equivalent) — Chromium-molybdenum steel providing high hardenability and strength for demanding applications.

• 37Mn — Manganese steel offering good comprehensive mechanical properties.

• 45MnPb (Y45MnSPb) — Leaded free-cutting structural steel with excellent machinability.

Hard Chrome Plating

• Chrome Layer Thickness: Up to 70μm hard chrome for maximum wear resistance and extended service life

• Salt Spray Test: Passes 72-hour NSS (Neutral Salt Spray) test, ensuring reliable corrosion protection in humid, outdoor, and harsh environments

• Surface Hardness: High micro-hardness chrome layer significantly improves resistance to abrasion, scratching, and impact

Colors & Surface Finishes

• Colors Available: Gold, Silver, Colored, Natural/Original

• Surface Treatments: Hard Chrome Plating, Zinc Plating, Polishing, and other finishes upon request
